Our restaurant Maíz y Olivo has several tables on its small terrace in front of Pushkin Park and Álvaro Obregón Avenue, one of the most iconic avenues of CDMX. Enjoy one of the best breakfasts in Colonia Roma while watching people stroll and enjoy this park. One of our favorite spots, it is only a few blocks from the hotel. Their cuisine from the sea is incredibly fresh and delicious. Under rigorous standards, for example, the fish they offer are seasonal in order to respect ‘the times of the sea’ and the fishing is by hook only, which means that it is a sustainable fishing. They call it ‘Fish Country Food’. The place, in addition, is a large terrace with very high ceilings that give you a super enjoyable feeling of freedom. The deconstructed pie is to die for!
Meroma is a gem, there is no better way to describe this place. This wonderful restaurant is made with love. Born in 2016, it is a project of Gina Casar and chefs Mercedes Bernal and Rodney Cusic. The cuisine of this place is exceptional as it offers products that are both sustainable and representative of their environment. Designed by OPA. Office of Architectural Practice, the restaurant is small, bright and cozy as is its terrace. And cocktails seem to be a time machine that takes you back to the golden age of bartending, just a must!
CAFEBRERÍA EL PÉNDULO
A classic of the city. This coffee bookstore has several branches scattered around the city and each one of them is a little gem that makes you feel at home. In the case of Roma, the place has a terrace on the third floor that faces Álvaro Obregón, perhaps the most iconic street in the neighborhood. TERRAZA CHA CHA CHÁ
It has one of the best views of the city with the magnanimous Monument to the Revolution in the background and with a fairly large surface area that makes you feel in a kind of living room-terrace.
